Wigan Athletic are one of five potential all Premiership ties in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup. Though we have an away tie, it is the shortest one we could have got with just 10 miles or so to take on Bolton wanderers.
Latics have never being put up against Trotters in the FA Cup before and so history will be made what ever happens. The tie will be played on the 29th or 30th January, details of which we will publish when released.
The last time the two met in any Cup comp was in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup in which we were 2-0 winners and eventually made the final. We have played six cup matches in total with three wins apiece and hopefully we wont draw this one, as has been the case in the league matches lately
