It looks like West ham United are picking the team for Roy Hodgson’s Fulham when they play Wigan Athletic this Sunday, there was all those managers thinking they had a squad to choose from when really they should be picking the same 11 players every week.

Roy Hodgson’s Fulham side have amazed in the first half of the season in the Premier League and on top of that have got themselves just 3 games away from a Europa Cup Final. They then get the Hypocrites from across town reporting them because they needed to rest some players for the Hull game, to give themselves the best chance of beating Hull and then Wolfsberg.

This is the same West Ham that played ineligible players for a season and then on the last day played an under strength (again because players needed to be rested) Manchester United team, a game that won and managed to stay in the league because of it – short memories.

Latics will still have to play whatever team is put in front of them and although results seemed to have stalled for the cottagers in recent games in the Premier League, they are still mighty confident and have some good players in their squad.

Johnson and Pantsill will definitely miss this game and who knows what team will actually be picked to take on Latics. You would have thought that Premier League survival is quite safe and trying to qualify for Europe is not on via the league and so the Fulham gaffer will concentrate on winning the Wolfsberg game and could well give some of his players an extra bit of recovery time for their second leg on Thursday.

Roberto could see a return for Emmerson Boyce and Chris Kirkland, Charles N’Zogbia has not had any more side effects from his return last week, Caldwell will be serving the first of his 3 match ban from the ridiculous sending off he got at Eastlands last week.

Our recent record shows lots of draws and I think that it could well be another this time, although I would love for us to nick this one.. 1-1 with betfair is 13/2, click here to see what the experts think will happen.

The referee will be Mark Clattenberg.
