7 April: Chelsea 2-1 Wigan
11 April: Wigan 1-0 Man Utd
16 April: Arsenal 1-2 Wigan
21 April: Fulham 2-1 Wigan
28 April: Wigan 4-0 Newcastle
To me the Newcastle game was the culmination of everything that came before it. The previous results despite the blip at Fulham meant they were full of confidence and it all came together to perfection in that 1st half.
Newcastle were 4th and strongly tipped for a Champions League spot and we took them apart with arguably our finest 45 minutes as an attacking force since God knows when.
Still like I said I can’t argue with your choices although as you appear to have a dislike of Liverpool I’m surprised you didn’t choose that game. :)[/quote]
