I really want to join in with the banter and dialogue, but do you know what? I just really can’t be bothered getting into the bickering about the Spaniard,and all that. I’m totally cheesed off with it all, if I’m honest. But I will comment on the N’Zogbia situation.
On one hand, we KNEW he’d be going, once he threw his toys out of the pram before the Blackpool game. And I stand by what I said, in that he should NEVER have pulled our shirt on again. But he was picked against Chelsea. If I’d been boss, he may have been on the bench, but nothing more.
So today he is going. And also today, the club announce that Victor Moses, his automatic replacement in the side, is OUT for 3 weeks. Honestly, you couldn’t make it up. Any other club would be like “No, he can’t go until we have a suitable replacement”. But not Latics. I’d like to think that we will sign a quality replacement for him, but I won’t hold my breath.
I am actually thankful that we do not have a home game for a couple of weeks. It’s a relief. Because the whole thing at the moment is so depressing.
