and we relegate Horwich Wanderers and Blackburn……..have I got my maths right ?
6 May 2012 at 10:57 pm #86655No QPR could lose their last game against City, Bolton could win at Stoke and so QPR would go down….
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
6 May 2012 at 10:58 pm #86656What a p####r…..
6 May 2012 at 11:00 pm #86657Nope. Blackburn will be relegated. However, if Bolton beat Stoke next week and QPR lose at City, QPR go down.
Edit: Double post with Jayt
6 May 2012 at 11:04 pm #86659Hope QPR do go down, another delusional club that thinks it’s going to be bigger than it ever will be. I never thought I’d say this but come on you whites :woohoo:
6 May 2012 at 11:12 pm #86662Why would anyone prefer QPR to stay up at the expense of one of our neighbours?.I dont see us as arch enemies with Bolton yes theres banter but I would rather go to the Reebok anyday than have to make the journey to that craphole London.Even if you dont like Bolton I can think of one reason why you should above anything else hope that QPR go down, RODNEY FOOKIN MARSH.
6 May 2012 at 11:53 pm #86675A draw puts Bkackburn down and anything less than an 8-0 for Notlob at Stoke means they cant catch us. I couldn’t give a flyer if they catch QPR and stay up at their expense, I really couldn’t.

EXACTLY
7 May 2012 at 4:25 am #86684???
This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve read tonight that some of us would prefer Bolton to stay up.
These are our biggest local rivals – why on earth wouldn’t you want them worse off than us?Do you think Everton fans would prefer Liverpool to stay up?
Or City fans Utd?
Or Spurs fans Arsenal?
Or Rangers fans Celtic?
Or River fans Boca?
Or Sunderland fans Newcastle?Don’t get me wrong I love a good derby, but would much rather see Bolton plying their trade in a division below us.
Plus, Bolton and Blackburn going down makes us the top team in Lancashire and in Gr Manchester we’d be third only to City or Utd!

I’ll try and defend the indefensible:
1: The cost – always reasonable at Bolton without the obvious expense of traveling to London.
2: Survival next season – Bolton seem skint and will be down there again next year. QPR may be able to strengthen which puts a bit more pressure on us in our never ending battle against the drop.
3: Coyle v Hughes – No contest there really.
4: This rivalry thing isn’t exactly huge. The Bolton fans I know reckon Utd is their big hatred, not us. We’re just a side show. Bolton is just a town full of Utd (and increasingly City) fans. Seem familiar?
5: Delusions of grandeur – I always get the impression QPR reckon they should be bigger than they are, a bit like Newcastle etc. Don’t get that feeling with Bolton. They’re just trying to survive like us.But as I said on another thread, I’d never say any of this in public :)
7 May 2012 at 5:16 am #86686I must admit…. I’m from the Griff school of thought on this one. People have their reasons for wanting other teams to go or stay in this league…..
……what’s really important is that we remain in the top flight. Sentiments about local rivalry, ‘keep it north’, cost of travel, Rodney ‘fookin’ Marsh (to me) all go out of the window.
It’s about us….it always has been…..and how we ‘kick-on’ next season. Not bothered about who else is with us….they’re just another team to beat.

But Micky as someone stated earlier in this thread Noblot like us are potless whereas QPR will spend so who will be easiest to beat next year???

Fair point chap,
however, we should be concentrating on our recent form and building on it. To use the well worn phrase “who’d have thought” bantered by so many lazy journo’s just after they reported on the Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool games is a mark of respect that we can (next season)hold it with those that stay in the league and also the bigger teams.
If we set out our stall early, get the team playing with the energy and intensity that we know they can, then whether they (qpr) have a bigger p/ssing pot than us (in my opinion) is irrelevant.
I suppose to put my point into perspective I could have said we need to really focus tonight (the job is still far from done)ensure premiership football next season and I’ll be happy to play anyone who’s left – whoever that may be.
