Welcome back Garswood Tic. Commiserations over the FA Cup result.
A good idea regionalising the fourth division. Could be simply done by merging the bottom league with The Conference. This would then give us a Championship, League One, League 2 North, League 2 South giving us four Leagues of 24 teams each.The regionalisation has been muted, but I don’t think it has been up there as a real alternative. Mainly because the Prem were trying to get an options for their reserve teams to get in.
Now that isn’t on the cards, it might be pushed a bit more.Remember, this vote in November is not one to instate it. They want to vote to have a debate on the idea, no point in spending time effort and money if it is a non-starter to begin with.
