On the 11th April 1985 we played our Northern Section Quarter Final, in what would be our triumphant Freight Rover Trophy campaign. Our win over Tranmere 3-1 saw us go through to the Northern Section Semi final against Lincoln City, who we won by the same score line. David Lowe scored twice with Tony Kelly bagging the other.
Ah, the days when we won trophies!!!!! Happy days indeed.
