The Arnold Palmer game looks a bit like Subbuteo Cricket.
Speaking of Subbuteo, I used to play it on the carpet as well as the dining room table wasn’t square. As our house is on a hill, the coin toss was always interesting as you factored in whether you fancied playing up hill in the first half and hoped to romp home in the second or build up a lead and defend like buggery.
The Mitre size 5 moulded footballs were the dogs bollocks of all footballs in the 70’s. The ones with a similar surface to that of a cheap table tennis bat but not as embossed. Rebound, Sure shot Hockey and Escalado were games we would gamble all our hard earned spends on !
