How does everyone think we are shaping up?
I personally think that we have quite a tidy squad there and as soon as Coyle decides who are is starting League 11, Cup 11 and Euro 11 are, I think we will do OK.
The problem I see at the moment is he is swapping and changing the team TOO much, as we need a stable core for him to ‘rotate’ around, not change half the players every game.
Once this is sorted, I wonder if we can emulate our 17 game unbeaten run :)
Players can’t be at their best playing three games in six days. Coyle has no choice but to rotate players while games come thick and fast. This will continue until the new year.
We’ve already seen the limitations of the squad. It’s difficult to turn out a single strong team at the moment. And frequent games make further injuries more likely.
Coyle should decide his Championship team and rest these players as much as he can in other games. But it’s going to be a difficult time for us all.
