There’s supposed to be a £5 million bid going in for Mallorca striker Ariz Azuriz.

We won’t get Benjani as he’ll be getting game time at Citeh now.Ahh but Mr Egg will he get game time when Adebayor gets back form the cup of nations and Mancini has stated that he want’s a look at all his players before he decides who can leave and who can stay .

Trust me, Adebayor will not get a regular run in the City team. This is because I paid £10.5m for him in our fantasy football league. Since then, he got banned for that daft goal celebration, has been out injured for weeks, his form deserted him and he has barely survived an assassination attempt.
My joy at his potential early return from the African Nations Cup is tempered by the nailed on certainty that on his return to England he will either a) be seated next to a more competent underpant bomber than the guy who went to Detroit, b) fall down the steps of the plane and break his leg, c) be arrested and imprisoned for drug smuggling, or d) be the next surprise addition to the Celebrity Big Brother House.

Don’t think there was much of a celebration in front of the gunners on Friday though.
