Crewe have lost 8 of their 14 home games, no one has conceded more goals than Crewe at home and only one team has scored fewer home goals so was this a point gained or two chucked away?

I can believe that cos we had at least 7 or 8 guilt edge chances. Our finishing was pish poor nothing to do with GC or formations. If GC doesn’t put a bid in for the boy Colclough he wants his head seeing to. I’ve seen him 3 times and he has been pushing for MOM on each occasion. We’d probably ger him for a few hundred grand.

        What a journey!

I hope they don’t ask you to write the question on the voting slip when we get round to having the EU referendum. Talk about loaded!

I said at the start of the season that 3 points at home and a point away will see us promoted so in that sense you’d have to be happy.

Yes on paper we should have won the game and it was disappointing not to turn our dominance into more goals, but has as already been said this season sides will up their game more against us than anyone else because we have the biggest budget in the league.

My biggest disappointment though is that with Burton losing and Walsall drawing we lost a chance to close the gap to just 3 points between us and the top two. We need to get into that top two and then I think once we do we won’t come out.

Can’t disagree with that summary, Mr Egg,
There’s only Burton who are hitting the citeria of 3 points at home / 1 away; but maybe they are about to get the jitters.

I reckon all the pundits are waiting for the bubble to burst probably because they are the smaller club. We had two years of that in the championship and another eight in the greed league. However Burton are there on merit and every credit to them.
Result wise the difference between them and us is the draw column.
Onwards to the mud patch next week and Grigg to start hopefully.

Been saying same about Colclough since I say him in the home game.Great vision can slide rule a ball through and chips in with goals.Last week Chesterfield was great 1st half poor 2nd…..went yesterday and we are screaming out for a goalscorer. Our top man is on 7….teams at top have players heading to 20 goals. Come on Gary go get Colclough! !!!

And as for yesterday bitterly disappointed with performance and result particularly after hearing the other scores. Won’t get many better chances this season to eat into the teams aboves advantage. Crewe couldn’t buy a win before yesterday so a great opportunity gone begging.
