24 February 2010 at 5:08 pm #24170ther was a game last year and there was a guy yellow water up with a purple/pinky jumper on dancing like a custard and he was with his wife remember singing “does ur wife take it up the Kaiber” can any1 remember which away team that was?West Brom pal, remember it well as we got battered all game and ended up winning 2-1 in last minute (Boycey).
As for the little c**t that got abused on sunday I was one of the crowd shouting abuse, i’m not ashamed and you point out it was a minority? The majority of fans in ES2/3 were singing jewish songs all game and hurling abuse at this 1 spurs fan + the rest of the fans around him.
24 February 2010 at 5:45 pm #24177I was sat in that area and heard a song about the guy in the purs end wearing a turban or something…all for giving the away fans some abuse but there is a line. I remember a few years ago down at West Ham an old man was set next to me and the West Ham were calling him uncle albert. But as you all said it was classic calling that fat cockney lad.

26 February 2010 at 12:29 am #24302I came back frrom the game disappointed by a limp display and embarrassed by the idiotic fans. Forever Latic has it exactly right. They were shouting comments that have no place in a modern society and I had honestly hoped that most people would share my views.Sadly it appears that isn’t the case. To see people say that he was “asking for it” completely misses the point. “No racial abuse” is the rule and yet these idiots blatantly ignored it. It’s hard to be proud of a club that has fans who can behave like Nazis. I also find it amazing that others can suggest people who object should sit elsewhere. What morons.

And you’re not ashamed? Have you ever actually left Wigan? I’m ashamed for you.
26 February 2010 at 5:09 am #24315And like the fat kid from West Spam  classic…..The funniest thing about that was his Dad complaining to the Stewards.  WTF were they gonna do? I’d have said to him ‘well if he wasn’t a fat f*cker then they wouldn’t have picked on him would they?’

Thanks for restoring a little faith in this forum and latics fans in general.
It took the best part of a week for someone to say what I thought was blatantly obvious.

I wouldnt have thought that any chavs knew any Jewish songs or even what they went through in the war let alone sing about them ! And I was in the East stand as usual and despite being fairly leathered I didnt hear any such songs anyway !

Me neither, I was sat in the area they were supposed to be coming from, flaming do-gooders, fook off to Pakistan or somewhere, that’s where I intend to live before you call me racist, it’s nearly empty.
27 February 2010 at 2:08 am #24423I sit in ES3, and i didn’t hear any anti jewish songs.
The only slightly iffy chant i heard was summert like “fook off to your corner shop”
(I didn’t join in but it did make me laugh TBH) -
