I think he might have been right the first time.

How many emo students does it take to change a light bulb?

None. They’d rather sit in a corner in the dark, complain about how bad their lives are and cut themselves.

        …too dark?

On a more serious side though, I personally wouldn’t really class many people as being ’emo’. It started off as being a very small movement, probably around 2002-2003, to today were many of the traits have become, dare I say, fashionable. Nowadays, just because somebody is dressed in skinny jeans and has their jet black hair straightened and parted to the side, it’s probably more than likely they don’t even listen to emotional hardcore music. It’s just a phase and the next imported bandwaggon will be along shortly.

You could always move to Iraq. Now they really don’t like emo students!

I always knew Iraq wasn’t all bad, that sounds about right as a punishment for looking like a complete pillock.
Students have been getting stoned to death over here for donkeys years anyway, it’s not that shocking really ;)
