My first choice would be Solskjaer but I don’t think that’s realistic.
Graeme Jones would be my guess. I wouldn’t be thrilled with that, but its better than Martin O’Neil or something.
Maybe snatch somebody from lower down, Eddie Howe would be a good choice but not sure if he would leave Bournemouth.

It’s impossible to slag off a manager who delivered Wigan Athletic the FA Cup.
Owen Coyle the next manager, but he wouldn’t be my choice.
Good luck to him in the future.
He got us playing the best football we have ever seen at Wigan and also won the FA Cup …. as a player and manager he gave this club some of its best ever times. He has also revolutionised how the club is run and managed. Also, very rare in this day and age, a thoroughly respectable chap.
Time to move on …. I think Jones would be a good bet, but he may leave too, so lets just hope for a sensible appointment and a quick one too.

At least we might get rid of GOMEZ ;)DW sould say he can’t come back for any players for a year, that way the new manager can work with a team thats been together for the last couple of seasons. Think Gomez might do well in the championship(his level)
The only reason I wanted him to stay was hopefully to help keep key players. Who knows what went on behind closed doors ? Maybe Mr Whelan couldn’t or wouldn’t give Robbie the financial assurances he requested, Idont think well ever get the truth.Whatever his reasons for going one thing is for sure we will find it even more difficult to push for promotion and I for one can sense a Whelan cash in sale should Robbie go to Everton and come knocking for Maloney, and Macmanaman. He’s done it before this time he’ll use the financial loss of relegation to justify it this time. He should have had more concern last 3 seasons when the 3 year relegation plan was in progress. As for new manager ????? I wouldn’t have a clue. .. Whose the cheapest ???
