If we go down and Ali is still our number 1 then I’ll be VERY VERY surprised.
If we do go down (which looks likely) then I’d be hoping to try and re-build for a few years and put the youth that we have at the club to the test. I’d give Lee Nicholls (England U19 international) the number 1 shirt, Jordan Mustoe the number 3 shirt, and let McManaman lead the line.
Throw in the likes of Redmond and Dicko too and see what they can do.
