Apparently he is our number 7.
Described by Martinez upon signing him at the start of the season as, “lightning quick and a player who can bring a crowd to their feet”.
Now I have to lay my cards on the table and explain that unfortunately I physically can’t get to many games, and due to how infrequently he has played for us, I cannot comment on his abilities. I’m sure others on here will be more than happy to do that. What I will however say is surely this is the type of player and dimension the current team does not have? Today, I am struggling to think of when, if ever, a single player actually ran with the ball. Call me old fashioned if you like, but are we not missing a small, pacey winger who can take on defenders and whip a ball into a crowded six yard box? Personally I feel that this type of player could be the difference between certain relegation and giving us a hope. Let’s think back at who we had last season as a small, pacey winger that could take on defenders and whip a ball in (and score too). Oh yes, Charles N’Zogbia; and it sure as hell worked back then!
On the otherhand, is the reason that he is not being selected because he didn’t quite turn out to be quite a suitable replacement…?

He improved when switched to the right and played in a more advanced role where he cut inside and get shots on goal.
The last out and out winger we had was Valencia.
