what i do think is you made a cnut of yourself making it in the first place and used a get out of jail card to backtrack.
I think you need to chill LMB. I have no doubt that the statement from Griff was made to illicate a response from those on this board who he knew would react to such a statement. You didn’t disappoint.

As for spitting, fair play to the Wolves player for not twatting him, I would have, cnt imo. Lowest of the low.We’ve got to be realistic. Alacaraz did wrong if he spat (I missed it at the game as I followed the ball and not yet seen the TV) and in an ideal world he should be punished. However, we’re in a fight to survive and I for one will swallow principles to keep him on the pitch, get points (in my dreams) as the alternatives are worse.
Yes I’d love to say he is in the wrong (he is), stick with principles, ban him, but I want to stay up more. Hypocrite? Yes I am. And I do not care. Survival is all.

As you can see from my user name I’m ExSeasonTicketHolder because watching the game played by this current bunch is a total waste of money and after being a lifelong supporter through thick and thin in the past I’m not prepared to waste my money anymore to be bored stiff by this ‘so-called’ attractive way to playing the game…but the reason I’ve been so incensed to register and reply is from this thread.
How the hell can you post such a flippant comment pretty much stating that well because Alcaraz thought it wasn’t a penalty it’s OK to gob at another player. You’ve shot yourself in the foot this time and no amount of backtracking will regain your ‘respect’ until you admit that you shouldn’t have posted those remarks.

I neither understand what he said or why, and told him so, to which he responded with a senseless tirade, or latterly why you think i need to “chill out”
Even more so i certainly dont know what “I have no doubt that the statement from Griff was made to illicate a response” means, but seeing you both fully understand one another perhaps one of you could let us all in on this secret world of yours.
I saw the incident on MOTD2 last night. Hopefully he’s looking at a long ban, as spitting at someone is the lowest form of life.

It was a disgusting thing to do but lets not cut off our noses to spite our faces here.
He’s been caught doing it. I’ve no doubt an FA charge will follow at some point today. He’ll get a ban & a fine from the FA. Latics should also fine him 2 weeks wages & make him issue a public apology.

i assure i am not attempting any form of muck stirring or pretending to be thick, your initial statement shocked me and i told you so, your reaction astounded me – i am afraid your meaning/trap/humour has gone way over my head, if you dont wish to “explain my comments on a public forum,” you could explain them to me via a PM, because i am truly at a loss to your stance over this and really dont want to be the odd one out to the understanding of it.
