Talking to a Bolton fan today, and he told me that there’s no chance we’ll be signing him, because apparently, Jaaskeleinen has said he wants to slow down on how many games he plays, and is slowing down towards retirement.
So they will want Al-Habsi back, for sure.
5 February 2011 at 1:56 am #58286and i’m sure he wouldn’t want to play in the championship anyway.

5 February 2011 at 2:07 am #58292hope it goes well for him though, even if it is for noblot, quality keeper and clearly cares about how he plays, unlike most of our players this season who just care about their wages.
5 February 2011 at 2:11 am #58294The lad will get my vote for player of the year……
ironic, as he’s not actually OUR player!
But without him, we might have had a real pasting, once or twice. Cracking keeper.
5 February 2011 at 2:17 am #58297True, the arsenal game comes to mind, could well have lost that game 10-0. Made a good save at 2-2 against West Brom aswell, saved us a point.
5 February 2011 at 2:25 am #58302His passion alone gets him my vote ! His goal celebrations when we score tell you something about his passion ! He reminds me of whats his name who ran up and down the touchline punching the air when we got an important 3 pts that time !!! Bit vague ?
He played at left back I think he was a good player but then got a bad injury blonde hair ? What the fcuk is his name it is doing my head in !! :wtf:5 February 2011 at 2:28 am #58303Per Frandsen

He will get snapped up by a big club regardless if we stay up or not is price must of rocketed this season
5 February 2011 at 2:30 am #58309think you’re right, midfielder though wasn’t he?
5 February 2011 at 2:33 am #58312Steve McMillan
5 February 2011 at 2:38 am #58314Recently in last couple of years !
5 February 2011 at 2:40 am #58316Nicky Eaden perhaps ?
he was right back though. he was your favourite latics player though when you got in to this latics thing
who you on about Baines?
5 February 2011 at 2:48 am #58319I have remembered, it was Erik Edman !! He wanted to play for us but the 9-1 debacle at Spurs did for him and he was gone !! Prior to his bad injury he was a great left back with passion !
