One metre standing jump ? I’m not sure I believe that one !!

Why would he make it up?
Griff, get either a metre ruler or a tape measure and place it in front of yourself and then make your own mind up as to whether or not you think it plausible to leap that high from a standing start ! Even if he means by bringing his knees up to his chest, I still find it a little far fetched ! If on the other hand he means one metre in length then that is well doable in fact one metre in length is very easy to do. His use of the word bounce insinuates height to me. Barnes Wallis would no doubt beg to differ ! :)
1 metre jump with bringing your knees up to your chest….. far fetched? you must be one chubby boy haha
Not overweight at all but thank you you for falling into my trap ! A one metre standing jump lifting your knees to your chest is indeed not that hard to achieve and as I already mentioned the lengthways one metre standing jump is also well easy so I am to presume he means a standing vertical jump with no leg bend which is utter bollocks ! Garswood, your vid clip is a somersault and not a one metre standing vertical jump !
Since when was being wrong then contradicting yourself considered to be a trap? :P
Ambiguity of internet ! I was being sarcastic ! Yeah a one metre standing jump with bended knees is very easy….NOT !! The universal height of a kitchen worktop is 90cm, can you from a standing start leap onto said worktop ? I know I cant !!
Yeah I think I probably could….. I would try it at home to test my theory but unfortunately I would bounce back of the cuboards above :silly:

But considering that I think I would have a good chance of it at 6 ft 2 15 stone spending my working days sat at a desk is it really that “far-fetched” that a 6 ft 4 (1.94m) 12.59784355344 Stone (80kg) man from Tanzanian heritage ( I presume very good jumpers ) who’s job requires him to be proficient in jumping could not handle the extra 10cm?
So you have cupboards above your sink unit !!!! Ok !! I would love you to try it, both feet at once mind ! You wont get anywhere near the work surface so I wouldn’t worry about the cupboards !!
