We have a game on Saturday against a struggling team like ourselves and im trying to concentrate on that considering it’s nearly match day. Any takers on talking about a footy match by and chance??
10 December 2009 at 11:14 pm #15014We need the three points as I can’t see us getting any at Anfield. I doubt we will though i’m afraid. Bit of a bogey ground the old Brittania.

Am i reet in saying Birmingham hadn’t got a good record at Wigan up untill last week
11 December 2009 at 12:12 am #15022Their pitch is narrow, they will get tight and not let our lads play the ball around, we won’t be able to cope. It’ll be like the second half of the Brum game all the way through.
Their home fans create a great support for their team, and will probably sway the ref.

What’s happend to you Yick, you used to be one of the more positive posters. You seem to have developed a bad case of snide flu like the majority here. ;)
Anyway, if their pitch is narrow (which I’m not sure it is particularly), it should suit our narrow, predictable, always-cutting-in-from-the-weak-footed-side style of play* that we have become accustomed to.
One thing is for sure – i will be wearing my vest and thermal socks because it will be f****** fleaing, as usual.

Just saying it how I see it Griff….I’ll still be shouting the lads on tomorrow though. 8-)
I’ve just done a bit of digging, and the comment about the pitch being narrow is borrocks btw….thats what you get for listening to a bloke down the pub!
11 December 2009 at 11:55 pm #15083Pitch widths:
Old Trafford 76 yards
Anfield 75 yards
Stoke 75 yards
DW Stadium 66 yards (60 metres)14 December 2009 at 1:55 am #15218As always…I’m the first to admit when I get it wrong(which is most of the time) Well played our lads and bring on the Scousers!! :D
Up the Tics!
