COME ON MURRAY !!If by Anglophobe you are refering to when, in reply to a question about England winning the World Cup, he stated “Anyone but England” Then i am afraid your point of view has been skewed slightly. Tim Henman admitted a year or two later that it was said in jest as both he & the reporter had been teasing him about Scotlnad winning the World Cup when they had failed to qualify, amongst other things & when that comment came out the good old British press picked up on it & promptly used it as a stick to beat him with.

How come Murray sounds like a Yank? ive more of a Scottish accent than him. :ohmy:That accent is quite normal from the Dunblane area, plus he spent a lot of his childhood in Spain learning to play tennis, so seems to have developed the strange English/Scottish/Euro accent.
Also…. Is there no sporting event left in the world that David Beckham wont seek publicity at?
