Didn’t he do exactly the same with Cleverly and Sinclair…Until Fergie threatened to take him back and then he played him out of position on the wing when everyone knew his position was mid field.
Best of all when he got picked for England Martinez claimed the credit.. ;)Absolutely baffling loan. We’re paying his weekly wage to not even sit on the bench. Bonkers.I doubt we are paying anything even close to the majority of his weekly wage.

quite obviously not going to keep the likes of Maloney , kone, mcmanman or even di Santo for that matter from getting game time.
He was on the bench.
Why we haven’t played him though is beyond me. Even when Kone was away at the ACN he still didn’t get a look in.
Must be something Bob doesn’t like the look of, but keeps him on the bench just in case, as we have no one else.
