Well, actually…
At around £20 per ticket, those extra 10000 have contributed less than £5m per season for 7 years, so £35m max in total.
Compared to 7 years worth of TV money at around £40m per year, £280m in total, it hasn’t really helped all that much, in relative terms.
So you can all go, if you like* ;)
