Wow, I know we were bad but it’s a bit early for that.
14 August 2010 at 11:54 pm #42506Oh I dunno, it worked at Norwich with Bryan Gunn…………
7-1 first day hammering to Colchester, 2 fans confronted Gunn in the dugout……
Gunn was sacked…..and replaced by Colchester manager, Paul Lambert.
They never looked back. Bravo those two fans who made the stand, but got banned for soing so.***
***not condoning it, but it turned out nice for them. (Norwich City)

Coincidentally I had the sudden thought to support Norwich shortly after the third goal went in and most of the ground emptied. Could this be a sign?
Probably not. But I’ve always had a soft spot for the canaries, and I’m not sure why. Might be a Football Manager thing.
15 August 2010 at 12:54 am #42543its funny, but me & my sister were talking about the same thing today. reminded me of that boro fan who did the same thing to mc claren.
15 August 2010 at 2:02 am #42585A bit of a hollow gesture as it was last seasons shirt that was thrown on. Thought the ball boy who was made to go on to retrieve it was a contender for MOTM.

the man who threw his season ticket and his shirt with Martinez 16 on the pitchBet he goes back sometime this week, tail between his legs to ask for it back
15 August 2010 at 5:02 pm #42706I saw the lad throw his top on the pitch and thought it was a childish gesture, as was the man who bottled throwing his season ticket on.
15 August 2010 at 5:11 pm #42708I saw both, had to look for something more exciting around the ground than our men getting schooled in football.
15 August 2010 at 5:12 pm #42709I saw the lad throw his top on the pitch and thought it was a childish gesture, as was the man who bottled throwing his season ticket on.Probably just one shandy too many. At least the traffic wasn’t so bad at full time.
