Waghorn might get a chance.
Play some fckin strikers now Malky, we dont need to hear how there’s nobody to put the ball in the net when we get chances.
15 March 2015 at 2:01 am #140304Probably replace him with Cowie.

You mean our top scorer McLean?
15 March 2015 at 1:30 pm #140311Top scorer with 6 goals just ahead of our other ex winger Callum Mc who scored 5. a handy contribution from both the wingers but goals scored by strikers says it all about our season.
But it could have helped the cause if we had actually played with strikers and a settled team.
A regular starting eleven from August could possibly have even had us pushing for the play offs like we expected but that’s hindsight and also Uwes legacy.15 March 2015 at 4:43 pm #140318Waghorn might get a chance.

In a perfect world he’d play both, like he did against home against Blackburn, arguably our most committed home effort for some time. For some reason he doesn’t get a game, similar to your lad Billy.
Waghorn is far too good to be sitting on the bench and if it’s instead of McCLean then yep I’d snatch your arm off.

What’s all this ‘your Billy’ nonsense?
The only thing I’ve ever said in his favour is I’d always lean towards a player with an SPL pedigree over one with French 2nd Division pedigree.
He’s probably pants, but less pants that Delort was.
I don’t see how dropping McLean for Waghorn would be any benefit – when all you’re doing it dropping, arguably, our best performer this season and someone who has been scoring goals, for someone else who might or might not score a goal.
16 March 2015 at 4:15 pm #140347you edited that post but still left the word ‘pants’ in it TWICE :woohoo:
If you read what I wrote I said I’d rather have both in the team but seeing as stubborn arse Malky won’t play Waghorn, the only way I see him getting in is to replace McClean while he is suspended. We’ll see tomorrow though won’t we, I won’t hold my breath that he’ll get a start though. Fortune on his own anyone?
We need goals, desperately. Get Waghorn in and get this scouser in.

I used the word ‘pants’ because I’m too polite to say ‘shite’.
I will reserve judgement on the Scouse (Brummie) lad until after I’ve seen him.
As Clarke is fit again, I suspect he may start with Fortune.
16 March 2015 at 10:19 pm #140351Winning four away games on the bounce no matter who against is tough and the players deserve credit as do the Management for applying the right tactics where needed.
We do need to start winning at home though. Hopefully we get that monkey off our back tomorrow night. Confidence at home is shockingly poor and with people constantly out to slag the team off at any given opportunity is it any wonder.
