This morning I checked the odds of Bob being next Prem manager to get the chop and he was 16-1. I have just checked again and he is 4-1 !! Why the big shift today and not Sat teatime ??

I haven’t had a bet but if he is feeling under pressure to resign then 4-1 is quite tempting ! As for the betting patterns,it takes either a significant amount of cash to cause the odds to fall that rapidly or some inside info ! I doubt the former would be from a few tenners here and there from Wigan bookmakers !

If your a betting man it doesnt matter if your from Wigan or timbucktoo the odds are massive at 16-1 take in the bad run and you would have a bit of that it’s not only bookies in Wigan it’s all over the place

Surly the wave of jobless bets as you liken them to would have been on before Fulham beat us ! Listen, if Bob goes it will be a shame as he is a genuine decent bloke but he is out of his depth. Now if someone else comes in and works wonders I wont be gloating. I will be glad for the club because that is what I want for the club !

Bobs odds may have come down from 16-1 to 4-1 at Bet Fred, Paddy Power etc but at Whelans wagers he is still at longer odds than Sir Alex. ;)

Did you actually mean that seriously. That is some way of looking at it. Im sure the dolites and druggies woke up and thought, ‘hey, fook the cider and drugs today, Let’s get on Martinez to be the next manager out’ Like they don’t have more pressing things on their mind.

                  :)

I like that. That said, it would a massive coup for the Darksiders if they were to recruit the Big Issue sellers to the cause.

Griff i think that is the first time you have been amused at my humour. I tried to give you a karma+ but i have already given thty(whateveritisthis)yearswafc a minus today.

Might just be the first time I have admitted it, Yosser. you can’t always judge a book by its cover. ;)
