What worries me is that Villa v Chelsea game, the same weekend as the final. Chelsea could at that point be preparing for the Europa League final the week after, and Benitez is notorious for his resting players policy. It would look well if this happened, and Villa won.
Chelsea are 3rd, Villa are 17th. Even if he rotates, they should be strong enough to win comfortably. It’s not as if he’s going to send out Ince Central Reserves to play them, is it?

Chelsea lose or draw with Spurs on 8 May and they will be desparate for 3 pts against Villa to qualify for Champs League.
I have us level going into final game, better goal difference so a draw will do but that could back fire. Would rather need the win to stay up.

villa 1pt v sunderland = 35 if lose 34
Norwich 0 pts v stoke = 37
meaning Norwich will have to beat villaus 1pt v wba = 33 but if we can get a win 35
villa 0 pts v Norwich = 35(34 if lost v sunderland)
Norwich safe 40us 3pts v Swansea = 36 if won at wba 38
out of bottom 3 for Wembley.villa 0 pts v Chelsea = 35
