Just bought another pair 0f Copa Mundials over here in Oz for $150. Best boots ever.
3 June 2010 at 10:21 pm #35613Had a pair of them George Best tie up the side boots when I played in the Wigan Ammy league. Purple and black I think they were with Georgies autograph inscribed on them.
Thought I was the bees knees, but still didn’t prevent me gerrin kicked to feck every week. :(From Matlock to ManU

4 June 2010 at 3:35 am #35634Best..All F50’s!
Worst..Tiempo’s…Sure you had them zoggy..You may have forgot as you don’t wear them on sundays ;)
4 June 2010 at 3:46 am #35635Best boots I ever owned were Puma Dalglish.
Worst boots ever were Qasar (sp?) from the late 80s, endorsed by that bloke from the Walkers crisp adverts. I played football and rugby union at the time, and my pair lasted about a month before splitting at the seams and coming apart like a chocolate orange.
If anyone played rugby, do you remember Walsh boots? Looked terrible, but lasted for years.

SW a lot of the current boots do what you say your ‘Qasar’s’ do… Split at the seems and last about 2 month!
