What a journey!No. Sharpy is a wise head on young shoulders and saw the damage that employing Mackay did. He feels for the club and won’t want that negative publicity again.
I thought the same but who is the best candidate to get us moving upwards? Plus we get the publicity of employing the last England manager.
We know what we think but I’ve a funny feeling…..Latics are not scared of controversy but someone who is so rich and yet still so Greedy will probably be too greedy for our budget. Greedy Nob End and Noblots get.
However he plays the right football for success in this league but Nob End and Noblots connection put me off more than his greed after all football is filled with greed from top to bottom.Sam is already being touted for a return to Sunderland so it is pointless to go down this route. Anyway he would see it as too much of a step back to come here.
