Is this Mon still are Mon or did we sell him outright? Picked ahead of Will for the Northern Ireland squad so could a return be on the cards for next season? Obviously he must be doing something right up North if he gets in the international squad.

Obviously he must be doing something right up North if he gets in the international squad. He wasn’t picked ahead of Grigg, the NI manager used a bit of common sense in omitting Grigg from the squad after discussions with the player, stating he was happy enough with his form and ability after watching him for us,
The Wigan link may have had something to do with Michael O’Neils decision as it also means he wont miss the two matches for us.19 March 2016 at 12:46 pm #147633Just wonder if him or any of the other loaneezs will be back if we went up?

19 March 2016 at 2:21 pm #147635Taylor I think and Huws. Probably only have Billy simply cos of that goal at Alty. Possibly as cover for Grigg on the bench. But we’re not up yet.

What are you talking about needing them? It’s not that we didn’t need them, its that we didn’t want them! There is a difference.19 March 2016 at 10:07 pm #147639Huws definitely told Caldwell that he wasn’t playing in League 1, hence why he went on loan. Not sure about Taylor, but I suspect he was another with an “I’m too good” attitude.
Mckay wasn’t really given a chance last season. It would have been interesting to see if he banged them in for fun at this level – I cant imagine the level he’s playing at in Scotland is any better.
