22 May 2010 at 8:28 pm #34442I can see the headlines now “Another little NW club who are punching above their weight and shouldn’t be in the prem”.
I’m absolutely made up for Ian holloway and his tangerine heros. looking forward to him winding the likes of Wenger, benitez and ferggie up next season. From Matlock to ManU

22 May 2010 at 9:17 pm #34446Pundits with egg on their face once again after underestimating a small club.
22 May 2010 at 9:26 pm #34448Made up for Holloway.
Among the first things he said were along the lines of the Premier League representing all that is bad about this money orientated world and that he hoped they would reduce the prices to get in so that proper people can watch them.
The money men will be choking on their Pimms.
22 May 2010 at 9:30 pm #34449One of the nicest things is that Cardiff “needed” to get into the Premiership to sort out their financial troubles.
Blackpool got there because they wanted to be there.

How good is that?Well done Blackpool, would not have been same if Cardiff would have won.Only two Lancashire Clubs to get to the Big League, Nob Enders, and Accrinton Stanley, bad day today for the NobEnders.I wonder if P.N.E.Thors done Harry Carry not heard or seen owt of him for a while. :D :D :D
23 May 2010 at 11:12 am #34464… and Morecambe
23 May 2010 at 11:16 am #34465Really pleased for them couldnt happen to a nicer club.
i remember a game in the late 90’s when Paul Warne hit a blinder early on in that Museum piece of a ground they had back then.My then little lad was knocked off a wall with a stray ball.He was a bit shaken but the stewards were sound and helped him up and asked if he was ok.
They looked very good yesterday and some of the play was awesome i think they may surprise a few next season i really do.
I hope all the genuine supporters get the season tickets because nothing annoys more than JCL’s nabbing all the tickets.23 May 2010 at 12:11 pm #34466Anonymous
I think they’ll struggle massively, and the same would have applied for Cardiff. To concede that many goals in one half shows how badly organised you are in defence, because none of the goals yesterday apart from the Adam free kick were because of an inspired solo effort.
Although I shouldn’t really be putting this argument forward after our charitable defence this season…
Edit: Don’t get me wrong though, very pleased that they got promoted, especially after being favourites to get relegated at the start of the season. Cardiff didn’t deserve to be there, they cheated Leicester in the second semi final game.
23 May 2010 at 12:37 pm #34468Blackpool are 500/1 to win the Premier League next season.
Which means if you go into a bookies now and bet £20 you will only lose £20.
