I know they are the new boys and therefore destined to be relegated (sic). But having seen their fixtures, as long as we beat them, they could well only get 3 or 4 points from their first 14 matches.
Ouch
Or am I being the same stereotypical uberfan that writes us off every season?
27 July 2010 at 12:29 am #41177Last year i thought that burnley would be lucky to get any points from their first 8 games, and because of this put quite a lot of money on them to be relegated. Ok they were, but after the start they had i didn,t half do some sweating till about January.
but then again 3-10 for blackpool this time. better return than the bank,
and it makes the season a little exiting, unless they have a good start like burnley, then more sweating.27 July 2010 at 1:10 am #41180Last year i thought that burnley would be lucky to get any points from their first 8 games, and because of this put quite a lot of money on them to be relegated. Do you think they will beat Chelsea 3-1?28 July 2010 at 12:09 am #41222no i don’t think they’ll get tonked 9-0 or 8-1
but i do think they will really struggle, it’ll be harder this season than last season. cos in mine and a lot of other peoples opinion the promoted teams this season are better than last seasons, even though i don’t think any of this seasons will finish higher than brummingham did last season.
thats an awful lot of seasoning

Do you think they will beat Chelsea 3-1?[/quote]Burnley beat Man Utd ! Football can be capricious we all know that but you cannot get away from the fact that our defence needed to be sorted due to a large amount of goals being shipped ! Two improvements have been made so we should fair better this season ! We shall see eh ! 8-)
