Just for those who don’t have Latics Player, here are a few pointers from the latest interview:
Alcaraz – we are waiting on a work permit at present.
Martinez is looking for competition for places.
He is still looking to pick up a few more players
He is also looking at bigger roles from the younger lads.
He goes onto say that he hopes that when we lose a player, the fans understand somebody is there and ready to fill the void.
He has no immediate plans to announce a captain however it will be somebody who has leadership qualities and is respected by the other players.

I hope its more than a few. I’d still say we need another striker. Another right winger. 1 left winger (assuming Moses will be playing there). 2 or at a push 1 right back. 1 left back & someone in “the hole”

And you seem to think this Oldham game is a big one, you’ve certainly been going on about if for long enough. Why is that? Are you being allowed to stay up late for it, or something?
