Anyone remember Moses? It’s highly likely that he’ll be that left sided ‘winger’.Even though he’s better through the middle

I don’t know, is he? How often have you watched him play as a centre forward? He’s hardly likely to play there with this new signing that’s just been made.

Behind the forward mate according to Warnock he started to play Moses through the middle and the man started playing miles better! Apparantly Warnock told Martinez this but he didn’t listen.

30 June 2010 at 6:32 pm #38758Even if this true, bear in mind that that was in the Championship. Jordi Gomez and Jason Koumas have also excelled in the Championship playing in a similar position.
30 June 2010 at 6:53 pm #38764To be fair, Victor Moses himself also said that his best position is “in the hole”
Mind you, Paul Scharner repeatedly told anybody that would listen that his best position was central midfield & we all know what a complete & total load of gash that was!!!
Back to young Victor, he may well be the man that plays on the left hand side. I don’t know. Nor do I know if he’s good enough or quite ready yet – Martinez himself seemed equally unsure last season from lat Jan onwards & personally I don’t know whether 3 months sat twiddling his thumbs is likely to have made him that much better that Bobby will now decide he’s ready
My own personal opinion was that he was very hit & miss – In a Jason Koumas kind of way things looked promising when he was brought on as a sub but he looked average at best when given a starting berth. Again will 3 months of the close season have made him that much better??
There, that’s a bit more like my usual negativity!!!!

No suprisingly he didn’t tell me that griff + i [s:21pv8erq]fkin[/s:21pv8erq] hate the smermy guy!
I thought it was common knowledge about Warnock telling Martinez that infact im sure there was a thread about it here, when he signed. Im sure i didn’t just make it up. :|
