I am hearing that Brian Sabin, well-known to many long time supporters, sadly passed away last night.

R I P BRIAN12 February 2018 at 11:29 pm #166294I bet majority on here have no idea who he is/was.
13 February 2018 at 12:52 am #166296No matter what people might say about his away ticket shenanigans, he was always there home and away and was always around the club doing his bit.
He was a true Latics fan and like someone else has said we could do with another 15000 like him.
Condolences to all his relatives and friends.
RIP big man.13 February 2018 at 1:07 am #166297Hey get off that seat! Used to be first on the Latics liner but he did love a freemans! Loved the club and glad we gave him such happy memories in the last decade after he stuck by the club through thick and thin!
13 February 2018 at 2:42 am #166304I knew Brian from back at the Springfield Park Supporters Club, him and little Ernie was always there…..
RIP Brian

13 February 2018 at 2:59 pm #166318I bet majority on here have no idea who he is/was.Bit of a pointless post that Dave! No need really!
13 February 2018 at 4:22 pm #166319I bet majority on here have no idea who he is/was.What’s that all about Vat? Not really appropriate.
Thanks Mr Sabin for your loyalty and dedication to our club.13 February 2018 at 4:38 pm #166320Lets not get in to a slanging match over something as sensitive as this, I think VAT was merely meaning that Brian was there from the days of old, back in the Springfield Park days, and those of the younger generation who have only been coming post-premiership era would not know who he was.
RIP Brian.
13 February 2018 at 9:50 pm #166340Back in the day when I travelled on the supporters club coach early eighties I suppose, Brian would always be already in his seat. So sad and far too soon after losing Danny. True blue RIP marrer.
16 February 2018 at 3:34 am #166502Just read this, had he been ill? Hadn’t seen him in his usual seat at the end of row Q for a while.
RIP Brian. -
