When I first saw them I immediately thought of a cartoon character from when I was growing up.
The name came to me this morning …”Marine Boy”
Boy did that make me feel old when I saw it was the 60’s when that cartoon first hit our screens!! :crying-yellow:

The male one has pure evil in his eyes ! As for Stripey, well we don’t play in stripes any more so no point in that ! Because we are, like it or not known as pie eaters, why not just have a guy running round in a pie costume ! Its perfect ! :clap:

She’s untied him Griff.
It occurs to me that the purpose of the mascot is to appeal to the younger element that support the club.
Now I know that there are many posters on this forum with a mental age in single figures but I think that in reality, only Jimmy and Zoggy should really be commenting on this.
And rather than just assume that the club has simply plucked this concept out of the air, what about perhaps giving them credit for actually giving it a bit of thought, consulting with various people and then coming up with something that the people it is targeted at actually wanted?
On second thoughts, if it was the same person involved that only lets you order the new shirts on line, rather than the shorts and socks too, maybe not.
