Quick question who on this board would take a point at home on saturday I for for 1 would relish a draw I no its not ideal at home to a team that’s not won away all season but with are form of late and to keep the gap between us and the dingles the same?
17 March 2010 at 11:09 am #26710No i wouldn’t take a draw.Burnley are already down in my eyes and that wouldn’t change if they managed a freak win at our ground.Pompey and Burnley gone there is one relegation spot to avoid.
If we don’t beat Burnley i’ll be concerned that we seriously are in a relegation scrap.
Right now i think that with easy home games v Burnley,Hull and Pompey we are staying up certainties.17 March 2010 at 12:02 pm #26716Anonymous

Thus giving Hull and West Ham the chance to leapfrog us leaving us 3rd from bottom ! Yeah clever stuff guys !! ( Think games in hand by the way ! )
18 March 2010 at 1:32 am #26887We have to play Hull and West Ham, we’ve said we’d like a win but a draw wouldn’t be a disaster.

West Ham are at play the Gooners this weekend I think
18 March 2010 at 2:06 am #26898It looks like there’s trouble in the camp, Sky Sports report that Burnley are looking to replace Laws already as results haven’t been acceptable, the fans don’t seem to like him either, reading comments under the story, all good for us hopefully.
18 March 2010 at 2:10 am #26901Regardless of what happens on Saturday, them giving Laws the job seems an incredible decision….I dont think anyone could believe it, one of the most bizzare managerial appointments I;ve known. Other than cost, what possessed them to give it Laws I’ve no idea.

18 March 2010 at 2:15 am #26905Yes, Hutchings, but although it backfired, at least Hutchings had been at the club for a number of years and had 2 years experience of working with Premier League players…..think we all saw when Bruce took over that it was simply a case of Hutchings having the players, but for whatever reason he couldn’t get them to play.

Weren’t we top of the league after Hutchings first 3 or 4 games in charge ?
