Talking on the way home on Saturday and Lostock Hall Latic and Horc we’re wetting therself in ways they could use a massive lottery win.

The consensus in my car was that if we bought them we would run them down to nothing and keep the copyright/business name and not sell them. They could flounder around in the lower egg leagues and play at Robin Park or Horwich. I don’t think the good people of Maryport Egremont and Walney would be too bothered because they may get to see them on tele again in the early cup rounds. Needless to say the old cheating the salary cap issue wouldn’t arise again and the pitch issue at The Wigan Athletic Football Companies stadium wouldnt be a problem for Wigan Athletic anymore.
