12 January 2010 at 4:15 pm #17981I quote from a Celtic fan friend:
“We are at home this week I think and without the possibly Wigan bound Gary Caldwell lolololololol. He is mince, rubbish, a liability and talentless. If he goes to Wigan you will hate him within a couple of weeks”
Hurrah. Do I get the first he will be pants quote in? Hey this is fun !
12 January 2010 at 4:17 pm #17983My mate who supports celtic has said he is piss!
12 January 2010 at 4:21 pm #17984hey we are building a championship team calm down
12 January 2010 at 5:58 pm #17986My mate who supports celtic has said he is yellow water!Yellow water or not he was Celtics player of the year last season & as the pic on the link shows he was their captain.
I say give him a chance, just like we did with a certain Titus Bramble.
12 January 2010 at 6:38 pm #17987No in Scotland that means Cr*p
12 January 2010 at 7:26 pm #18003Is it not just sour grapes?
Sounds like they are giving him a bit of stick because he wants to move to Wigan. It’s the same old he’s rubbish, glad he’s gone, blah blah blah.
He’s not even put a Wigan shirt on yet and people will be looking to judge him.
12 January 2010 at 7:29 pm #18005If he isn’t good enough for Celtic he isn’t good enough for us. But he didn’t get player of season for nothing.
12 January 2010 at 7:34 pm #18007If he isn’t good enough for Celtic he isn’t good enough for us. But he didn’t get player of season for nothing. He is good enough for celtic, he was their captain and part of the 1st team squad BUT he is out of contract in the summer so they either lose him for nowt or cash in now which they have.
12 January 2010 at 11:10 pm #18054If he isn’t good enough for Celtic he isn’t good enough for us.
I really really hate to do the “look how far we’ve come” but if a few years ago someone had been saying that we are on a par with Celtic in our aspirations then frankly I’d have been ringing the men in white coats…. (and I don’t mean cricket umpires)
12 January 2010 at 11:13 pm #18057“Wigan had been interested in Celtic striker Scott McDonald, but talks broke down last week between the clubs and the Australia international has since undergone hernia surgery. ”
Now come on – I always thought our medicals were a bit of a joke….. ;)
12 January 2010 at 11:33 pm #18063Might also explain why we didn’t want to pay £4m
12 January 2010 at 11:44 pm #18066Might also explain why we didn’t want to pay £4mCos Whelan’s a tight arse?

Cos Whelan’s a tight Kaiber?[/quote]
Partly. But I’d be very disappointed if he had paid £4m for an Aussie with a dodgy sack
