I thought the same myself. But it does beg the question & I really well & truly would have loved to have known what happened between morsy & caldwell at the start of the season. I don’t think we would be in the position we are now had morsy (& in some respects pearce) been here from the start.
Many people on here were not a bit bothered in Caldwell getting shut of Sam and others.
In fact some didn’t rate him at all.Maybe people didn’t rate him because they’d only seen him played by Caldwell as holding midfielder and he patently isn’t one.
We all have to start somewhere and Caldwell was just that. Personally, I’m glad he’s gone as for me his inexperience was our biggest problem.

If caldwell saw morsy as the holding midfielder for this season & morsy explained to caldwell that that wasnt his position, makes you wonder if that is what led to an alledged argument – hence caldwell shipping out morsy.
