20 April 2010 at 6:17 pm #30181Same team as Sunday, same tempo, same commitment, the result will look after itself.
Yes, I agree, they’ll be buzzing, let them at West Ham and then bring Moses on as we did against Arsenal.
Caldwell on the bench instead of Scharner would be the only change I’d make.20 April 2010 at 6:32 pm #30183“Yes, I agree, they’ll be buzzing, let them at West Ham”
They’ve been “buzzing” this season after victories against Villa, Chelsea & Liverpool and have followed those 3 games up with a loss to Wolves, a loss to Hull & a loss to Bolton respectively.
I spot a bit of a pattern there!!! If I was to gamble on a win, loss or draw on this weekend’s game I know where my money would be
20 April 2010 at 7:58 pm #30194Haha congratulations to tyldesleylatic for destroying the thread.
I agree though btw
20 April 2010 at 8:00 pm #30196Oh and Gohouri by a mile, How can you take this mon out. Well how can you take anyone out. Everybody complains when he plays players out of position, Including me. Don’t encourage him ffs he might read this site
20 April 2010 at 8:20 pm #30204Don’t encourage him ffs he might read this site :lol:Of course he does, but only my posts. Why else do you think he picked Watson on Sunday 8-)
20 April 2010 at 9:31 pm #30216What about Gohouri playing right back and let Caldwell return at CH. I think Gohouri would make a cracking right back, lots of pace, great tackler, good in the air and would link up great with the Zog.
Can you imagine the look of despair on the Wet Spam left back when these two come marauding forward. :oFrom Matlock to ManU
What a journey!20 April 2010 at 9:43 pm #30218Got to agree there jr, i think melchiot’s past his best and will probably be released at the end of the season. Why not give Gohouri the chance to prove what he’s like there? He may be the replacement for Mario, he’s impressed me in the last 2 games.

agreed about Mario although he had one of his better games on Sunday
21 April 2010 at 5:53 pm #30276Hey , look at us !!!
CB – Caldwell or Gohouri
RB – Mario , Gohouri or Boyce
Midfield – Thomas and Scharner can’t get in
LW – Start with Moses or have him coming off the bench as an impact playerLooks like we’re building ourselves a squad. ;)
21 April 2010 at 6:05 pm #30278Midfield – Thomas and Scharner can’t get inAnd we should change the locks to make sure it stays that way ;)

Nowt wrong with Gomez, I’d keep him.
Seriously, be interesting what happens with him in the summer. He’ll either go, or come back better I think.

Get him out on loan to a championship team get him games under his belt worked for Watson albeit he’s a better player imo

21 April 2010 at 7:38 pm #30286Get him out on loan to a championship team get him games under his belt worked for Watson albeit he’s a better player imoI disagree. He came from championship team and got a shock when thrown in the Prem. He was found to (possibly) be too slow and wanted more time than he was ever likely to get. He was the fulcrum of the patient passing style and therefore became a bit of a scapegoat for it, imo, when it started to go eggy – just after the Villa away game. :D
His confidence is shot. He will benefit from a summer off and will hopefully come back better. He’d better grow a big beard and dark glasses to try to fool the boo boys.
I will invite ridicule for the second time today but I honestly think there is a class footballer in there struggling to get out. Whether it willcan happen, I don’t know, but I hope it does.
