Someone should have told the players they weren’t meant to join in the applause.
Would have been ironic if it had been their number eight who scored whilst we were all fannying around with the eight minute salute. :blush:
Their number 8 started the move that lead to the goal exactly 8mins into the game and the move consisted of 8 passes and the ball was 8 yrds from the byline when Jarvis hit it. At the time I was 8 rows up and had clapped my hands precisely 8 times when the goal went in. All 3 of my daughters were once 8yrs old and my son is 4 which when multiplied by 2 = 8 ! Don’t you just 8 it when that happens !!
Tried to get 8 of us clapping along to The Empty Seats in Supporters Club before yesterdays match. Think we managed 5, absolutely no chance what ever of getting 8. ;)
