I think given time AVB would have turned things round and may be gone on to create a legacy. No manager will be a success at Chelsea as long as Terry, Lampard, Cole etc are there to many big ego’s in the dressing room.

so winning a few cup competions despite spending what he did is to be considered a success, if so why was he sacked and WHY has there not been a big rush to give him another job.

a few cups,he won the biggest trophy in club football so thats failure in your book
