      Hello everyone, Chelsea fan here.

Let me start by apologizing to the admin if this thread does not belong here. I am a moderator on TalkChelsea.net where we do, before every match, something called “Opposition Views” to give everyone a different perspective. I would really appreciate it if you can take the time to participate in the opposition views for the Chelsea vs Wigan match on Saturday. Basically, all you have to do, is answer the following short questions:

      1) First, how long have you been a Wigan fan?
      2) You had decent start to the season, but your form has dropped recently. What has gone wrong for you?
      3) You’ve recently slipped into the relegation zone. How do you rate chances of survival this season?
      4) Wigan have survived many relegation battles in the past. Do you think this gives you an edge over fellow relegation battlers?
      5) You made a few loan deals in January, including the return of Paul Scharner. Are you happy with the business you did in the winter market?
      6) The match at the DW was a rather quite affair settled by two early goals. What did you make of that match? And do you expect a similar 90 mins tomorrow?
      7) Who has been you best player so far this season and who should we look out for?
8 ) If you can have one Chelsea player at Wigan, who would it be and why?
      9) What lineup and formation is Martinez likely to use for this match?
      10) Finally, kindly predict the result.

Thank you in advance for your help. I am, of course, ready to answer any question you may have about Chelsea.

      1. 34 years
      2. The football’s ok, but we defend like 8 year olds
      3. Closer than Jimmy Saville to a teenage girl on TOTP
      4. Oh yes (said in a Churchill insurance dog style)
      5. Could have done with shoring up the RH side of defence a bit more; and a winger would have been nice too. Our small squad can’t cope with the number of injuries we’ve had this year.
      6. Apart from the first 10 minutes, we were worth a draw. Of course, if we’d have hurt you, you may have just gone up a gear.
      7. James McCarthy; Sean Maloney (although Ivanovic can punch him in the back AGAIN if he can catch him)
      8. Frankie ! A goal scoring midfielder and my wife likes him
      9. 3 – 4 – 3. Bugger
      10. We’ll either get caned; pinch a point or tank you 2-1

      Goodnight and Thank You
