21 June 2012 at 2:21 am #89470Whelan should up it to 15 mill if they are that keen-incredible!
Make the b’st’rds pay through the nose!21 June 2012 at 3:07 am #89475If we do get a good price for Vic, bomb straight in for either Hoilett from BBurn, Jarvis from Wolves or Wi from Bolton. That will be good business done.
If its true that Whelan has offered to double Victors wage from £20k p/w to £40k p/w, then he must be mad to move on knowing he will be a bit player for any top 6 or 7 clubs in the prem.
BTW we might even be that top 6 or 7 club if we carry on were we left off last season. :woohoo:
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!21 June 2012 at 11:52 am #89480If its true that Whelan has offered to double Victors wage from £20k p/w to £40k p/w, then he must be mad to move on knowing he will be a bit player for any top 6 or 7 clubs in the prem.I suspect it is more the case that he has offered to double his wage TO £20k per week rather than from £20k to £40k. Which is probably also why Moses didn’t accept it when it was first offered.

With his comments yesterday that he would “like to go to the highest bidder”, I think Moses agrees with you too
21 June 2012 at 1:43 pm #89488So if say the Venky’s decided to pump a sh*t load of money into BRFC and I mean a sh*t load and then offered say 12 million for him he would go there would he ! Would he fcuk ! He has a latent talent and needs a club that can utilise that talent to the maximum, there are not too many teams out there that can do that so he should be careful. However if money is his sole object then what a shame !
21 June 2012 at 2:20 pm #89491He would we replace him with?

However if money is his sole object then what a shame !I’d agree that he needs a club that can utilise his talent & a club where he will play every game (when fit) but I think with comments like I mentioned in my last post that his priority seems to be in going where he’ll get the most dosh.
On the other hand you could look at it from the angle that he has a lot of faith in his ability & think’s he’ll get regular games at the like of chelsea next season or (like he did at latics) he’s prepared to wait 18 months + to adapt before he gets regular starts21 June 2012 at 7:05 pm #89502Moses is a fantastic talent and in 3 years he will be a superb player but… hes no where near the finished article yet. If he wants away so badly and I dont know why he does then fook him and let him go. The attmosphere in the last 10 games of the season was superb and he played a starring role for us.If I was a player I would have loved those games. He will go to Chelsea and be dumped in the reserves and his career will stall or even go backwards… but then again his agent will make a nice 2 million etc on the sale so away he will go.
Take the 10 million and spend it on some other young and talented players that Roberto can bring through into the first team.
I have just bought my first season ticket for 3 seasons and I cant wait for the new season , with or without Moses.21 June 2012 at 7:32 pm #89503Wigan have offered to double winger Victor Moses’ wages after Chelsea reportedly made an offer – described by Dave Whelan as ‘taking the Mickey’
21 June 2012 at 7:44 pm #89504The quote I saw was to double his wages “over the next 3 years” not straight away.
