I have booked a seat on club coaches to Wembley and know it is illegal to drink booze on board but does anyone know if you can put packs of booze in luggage hold to drink at other end
10 April 2013 at 9:32 pm #108620That would be a no. You could just put in the hold without saying what’s in there.
10 April 2013 at 10:08 pm #108626That would be a no. You could just put in the hold without saying what’s in there. With the risk that if the coach gets searched, which the OB will do on a sampling basis so its pot luck, the driver will be asked to turn round and head back home if any booze is found.
The choice is yours!, but be wary, if its my coach that gets turned round, you will be thrown out of the emergency exit somewhere between Wembley and Hilton Services and the coach will not be motionless on the hard shoulder when you do. :woohoo:

FFS, if you can’t go a day without an alcoholic drink, then I would be very worried, just go and enjoy the experience, at least if you only drink water or soft drinks, you will at least remember the game.
Tongue very firmly in cheek!,
10 April 2013 at 11:32 pm #108645My picking up point pub is serving bacon and sausage sarnies from 8am and leaving for Wembley at 9:30am.
Now I’m looking forward to a few breakfast butties before I board the coach, others are enquiring if the bar will be open FFS! :sick:From Matlock to ManU

11 April 2013 at 3:48 am #108719Alcohol cannot be carried on board at all and as said, if any is found then you could face being turned around and sent home.
