24 April 2011 at 3:10 pm #64035caldwell Should be dropped for the remaing games put boyce in for him, cant be any worse  martinez outi seem to remember every chance that sunderland had yesterday coming from players in front of defence giving the ball away constantly and both full backs not being tight enough and letting cross after cross to rain in even the penalty came from diame beeing caught in possesion and he was probably our best player on show.
the only reason sunderland didnt score earlier was their crossing was poor it was only a matter of time before they got it right.
gohouri is the worst * player to ever pull on a premiership shirt for us, surely the lad who plays left full back for the reserves/youth team is better than this clown and how anyone rates boyce is beyond me -3 previous managers couldnt make him a first choice player so it shows how bad we are now if some fans think he should be.*I take back that remark -on second thoughts 1 or 2 others players spring to mind who have been as bad,but gohouri is up there with the worst of them.

Regarding the penalty, maybe Alcaraz should stop barging into opposing players in the penalty box. He got away with it against Birmingham but not this time.

And it was N’Zogbia who gave the ball away for the 4th goal.[/quote]i stand corrected – i have watched it again on sky iplayer and it was indeed nzogbia who lost possesion but a feeble tackle by both diame and watson allowed the sunderland player to retain the ball and create the move for the penalty, the point i am making is although caldwell is garbage the pressure on the defence yesterday came from the fowards/midfield failing to show up.
