Great post……. ;)
30 October 2011 at 8:28 am #73023I would have to agree with that about ruining the board. Thats perhaps one of the reasons its as quiet as it is.
I gave up posting on here, and reading posts as whenever someone types anything that isnt agreeable in the eyes of Griff et al, there follows some smart 4rse response, ruining what may or may not have been a decent logic based debate.
I applaud him however on his continuing policing of the board and reprimanding anyone who does not agree with his, or his close friends point of view.
30 October 2011 at 12:03 pm #73027CRUSAT didnt get the ball in a position where you would expect for a winger, we play football which is too slow to utilise him. You wonder what tactics we play in training that brings people like him into the game?
The difference between the teams yesterday for me was when Fulham were on the ball, they took the ball in space and used it to take players out of the game. When we had it we slowed it down and allowed their players into the game.
So no matter how much possession we have or shot on target, if we dont use it wisely what is the point?

You’re so full of sh!t, it’s not true. I’ll have a reasoned debate with anyone, I have many of them in the pub or at the match, but the chances of having one on here are fairly slim.
If you think that calling a manager clueless and pathetic etc had any place in a reasoned debate then you’re sadly mistaken. And that’s how most anti-Martinez posts tend to start on here.
30 October 2011 at 1:42 pm #73037I have not mentioned Martinez or the current situation at the club. I did not say anything about anything other than your continued sniping at most posters on here who dont agree with your or your peers viewpoint.

I’ve made some good friends from this forum over the years, some whose opinions I share and others I don’t.
Outside of that group, I really couldn’t give a flyer what anyone else thinks.
30 October 2011 at 3:27 pm #73053I was shocked to be honest, thought he would of took one of our holding midfielders off, b4 crusat

back on topic about Crusat can anyone tell me how many times the opertunity to pass to him was refused he made great runs then the ball was passed in the opposite direction
30 October 2011 at 10:44 pm #73086From the little we’ve seen of him, unlike Moses, Crusat is a winger that crosses the ball. That’s a problem for us because we don’t have forwards in the box to receive them. If we’d had Di Santo and Rodallega on together playing in the middle of attack, then Crusat would have had someone who just might have won a header and made a chance from his cross. We didn’t. All we saw, yet again, was Di Santo coming on and Rodallega wandering off to the wing.
31 October 2011 at 12:38 am #73105I thought the lad looked ok yesterday (even though he did look like he was very far away).
He might have had more of a chance to make an impact if someone had given him the ball!
What’s the point of having a winger and going inside all the time ?
His absence was noticeable when Hugo went left (nominally) and we there was a gap where you’d expect to see a winger.
Ole Albert – see you next Sunday !
Lots of love,
Pablo el diablo
31 October 2011 at 1:16 am #73111I actually thought he did alright even though there seemed a reluctance to give him the ball. He made loads of runs but know one seemed to pick him out, may be they couldn’t see him behind a divert.

how you slate someone after two games is beyond me, crusat was getting flustrated yesterday, esp in first half. he kept making runs, without anyone picking him out, there isnt one of our midfielders who can get their head up and play a killer pass
31 October 2011 at 1:48 am #73114He should have taken Watson off (had a nightmare) and put either Fish or Di Flecto up top and played 4-4-2.
At the start of the second half Moses and Crusat were starting to cause problems but we had nobody getting on the end of the crosses (a problem with 1 man up top if the midfield doesn’t support them)
