In 1999, on April 18th, Latics beat Millwall 1-0 at Wembley Stadium to win the Auto Windscreen Shield. On a sweltering day Paul Rogers scored the only goal of the match to see us win the Football Association Cup competition for the second time.

I’d settle for that scoreline today ;)
