It has been officially confirmed now that the body recovered from the Canal, right behind the stadium, was Sarren.

Moving tribute today before the game and even more so as the clock ticked passed 54 minutes.
A special special supporter and one who will never be forgotten.Darren’s funeral
The family has announced that the funeral will take place at 1.30 pm at Wigan Parish Church.
Prior to arriving at church, There will be a drive around the stadium at 12.00 pm where everyone is welcome to come and pay respects and see him off.
Everyone is also invited back to the Stadium after the service, for the Wake and to remember Darren.
